"Manyk Enterprise" (Australia)

The owner of the firm – Mr. Ilya Grigorievich Manyk (Australian businessman) in the late 1980s made acquaintance with Mr. Gherman Stepanovich Titov (astronaut-pilot No.2) when Mr. Manyk came to Moscow following his sponsorship of the exhibition presented by Space Museum of Russia in Australia.

This acquaintance resulted in setting up in 1993 closed joint-stock company SPACE-EARTH. The main goal pursued upon this company startup was to explore every avenue opened by the research findings of the space industry under Ministry of Defense of USSR and the development of the space-based technologies that can be used on earth as well.

In the same 1993 was opened overland Space Station –Laboratory “BURAN”. In the process of this laboratory-station construction there were used a number of existing space technologies and were developed and patented 26 space technologies created by the employees of SPACE-EARTH venture under the leadership of  Mr. Gherman Stepanovich Titov (Chairman of Federation of Astronautics of USSR-Russia, Astronaut-Pilot No.2, Academician of Russian Academy of Cosmonautics by K.E. Tsiolkovsky, Hero of the Soviet Union, President of “Space-Earth” joint-stock company) and Mr. Ilya Grigorievich Manyk (Associate Administrator of  the Chairman of The Federation of Astronautics, the project manager of  “Overland Station-Laboratory BURAN” plans and specifications, and Vice-President of “Space-Earth” company).

One of the first space technologies developed with a view of sending a man for a long space voyage (with an eye to 50 years of space travel) was a special technique of growing wheat grass in order to provide the space travelers with food, drinking and healing remedy combined just in one product. The results of numerous experiments turned out to be sensational.

By means of specially developed processing unit called “Phytocycle” installed on the overland space station BURAN there had been cultivated product known by the human race from the earliest times, though with quite new advanced features, which really had pushed the developers into marketing wheatgrass in a number of countries around the world.
